Our Counseling Approach

Time and time again we come back to the fundamental truth that people heal in relationships.  We highly value the unique relational connection with each of our clients.  One of the most rewarding parts of being a counselor is experiencing our clients discovering emotional freedom and genuine satisfaction in their relationships.  Through this relationship, we help our clients identify and transform inaccurate thoughts and self-perceptions that contribute to negative emotions, actions, and reactions.  We believe in helping our client’s identify their core beliefs, so their actions are aligned with these core values.  Our strengths-based model is grounded in encouragement, goal setting, accountability, and practical feedback.  Working together with our clients, we identify their core skills, talents and unrealized spiritual potential to bring about positive change and emotional healing.  Faith-based counseling with prayer in session is a part of our therapeutic approach, if this is comfortable and desired by the client.
